The Pottery Loft has been a much loved part of our local community for over 13 years. The studio has gone from strength to strength and battled through the pandemic. We've made friends, witnessed your major life events, supported you through struggles, cried with you, celebrated with you, and tried our very best throughout the years to provide a safe space where memories can be made and keepsakes can be created; both to be cherished.

After some hugely devastating life news at the beginning of this year, we've made the difficult decision to sell our beloved studio and brand. We are looking for a reasonably quick sale, however we also will not part with our studio unless we find the right buyer. The Pottery Loft is a loved and appreciated place for so many people and as such, we take this responsibility very seriously.

Seriously interested parties are invited to let us know and we can set up a meeting to discuss. We will require the signing of a non-disclosure agreement, and possibly a proof of funds/intention. The potential to expand the offerings and collaborations with TPL is huge! We have not even scratched the surface. The online presence is especially exciting.

STAFF

TPL currently has 1 member of staff for Saturday & school holiday help, however this colleague would not be tied to the business sale and you will be free to start fresh as you wish. Whoever takes over The Pottery Loft will have our assistance for the first month while we teach you everything you need to know.

STOCK
TPL carries a lot of stock & this will be fully supplied & stocked, ready for you to begin your journey.

WEBSITE
TPL uses Wix to collate calendar bookings, collection requests, online orders, gift vouchers, mailing list & customer contact information. The website was introduced in 2020 and has worked wonders for both the business and the customer for organisation, communication & flexibility with outside bookings & commitments.

LEASE
The property landlord has been extremely understanding and supportive with our current situation and as such, has offered to sign a brand new lease with a successful buyer. Rent will be provided upon arranged meeting with potential buyers.

LOCATION
Our studio is located close to local amenities and schools, with the added bonus of ample free parking.

 

POTENTIAL GROWTH
Our resources have been limited due to childcare issues for the last few years, and as such we have not been able to fully explore the avenues we had planned to, including:

• Online selling presence for our popular and heartfelt personalised giftware and keepsakes

• Regular sessions with local baby groups

• Enjoying our excellent relationships with local businesses and groups to arrange more collaborative sessions

• Reaching out to more schools, local clubs and groups, and nursing homes to arrange sessions

• Expanding opening hours to suit demand

• Holding much more regular adult only events, teenager/family events and more

• Expanding the 3d casting offering to include large family casting

• Creating a membership programme and loyalty scheme for customers

• 'Pay in 3' options for casting and parties

• Possibility of franchising to other locations

• So much more!

In our opinion, this simply means: should The Pottery Loft continue to be ran the way it is, with the love of our customers and creating much cherished keepsakes at the centre of each day, it will continue to be a success; if this were expanded upon, the possibilities are truly endless. Whoever takes over our beloved studio will take a piece of our hearts with them - it is such a special place with an incredible ethos.
