POTTERY PAINTING

The Pottery Loft provides a wonderful setting for all things artistic and creative! Pottery Painting is at the centre of all we do - not only is it a fantastic opportunity to create a keepsake to treasure forever, it can also be super fun and even relaxingly therapeutic!

Whether you're coming alone for some down time, popping along to make a gift for someone special, or planning to make some memories with your family or friends, our aim is to make your visit one you'll love!

​

Our pottery range is ever changing, and ranges from £8 to £45. You choose your item on the day you visit, and we'll be on hand to help set you up. Paints are water based, do not stain and are safe to use for any age. Sessions are up to 2 hours long, giving you plenty of time to enjoy the studio and your activity.

 

We have tools, stencils, sponges, stamps, squeezy bottles, stickers, tape, display pieces and books full of inspiration to help you on the day of your visit - and a friendly face is always around if you'd like any advice!

We have a small soft play for those aged 4 and under - ideal to keep little ones busy in between brush strokes. We also serve cakes, toasties, sandwiches, snacks, and hot and cold drinks from our café.

Whether you're a painting pro or a complete newbie, there's something for everyone and we always do our very best to ensure there's something for every budget - you're sure to love pottery painting!

Pottery is left with us for between 7 days and 14 days (exact wait depends on how busy we are - will be advised on the date of your visit). A text will be sent when it's complete and you can book to return to collect your item(s) once glazed & fired in our on site kiln.

​

You'll be amazed at the difference - the colours come out vibrant, and the glaze adds a super shiny finish that just completes the piece to perfection.

During a 2 hour session, we can assist with baby prints after we've set everyone up, and completed any food or drink orders. You can choose to have us complete your items for you (commission fee between £2.50 and £7.50), or we can provide you with the tools to complete yourself. We can also complete imprints or outprints during a 2 hour session, time allowing.
